If you are not a programmer and do not have an idea about HTML or PHP, don’t be so panic. Creating a blog or a personal website is easy for you now. As you can find many blog and tutorials for creating a blog website in PHP and HTML and most of them can be tough for you to understand as a beginner. So I here tried my best to shorten the process and write the simplest steps to create and customize a WordPress blog.
Step 1: Choose hosting platform for WordPress blog
For a hosting account, you can choose from a list of hosting platforms.
Some of them are listed below:
1.) Godaddy hosting
2.) Hostgator hosting
5.) Wp engine
6.) Google hosting
7.) iPage hosting
8.) net4 hosting
Step 2: Find your domain name idea:
– searching out for a perfect domain name either for a personal blog or
a business website is always the most important factor. Still there are
some common mistakes we often do:
1.) Choose short and easy to remember domain name: Always try to choose an easy recognize name which will be more correct more it is shorter. Do not take the name full of special characters like hash, dash, uppercase etc.
2.) If you are considering a domain name for your personal blog, I would suggest choosing a keyword you always called up in your circle by name.
Or some identity you hold in your own friend circle. Do not choose the keyword which has no relation with your identity.
3.) Global domain: Try to get the domain name .com extension as it is the most popular and effective extension.Everyone knows internet website would by .com extension. You can also consider .net, .org, .biz etc
Step 3: Install the WordPress on hosting account
For installing WordPress free please go through my previous blog post below:

Step 4: Login to WordPress admin panel
When you have completed with WordPress installation, you will get an email in your Inbox. You can follow the link from there with mentioned username or go through direct link:

You will view the default dashboard area after the first-time login which you can customize by hiding/show checkbox in top right upper area(screen options)
Step 5: Start customizing blog design (Layout and theme customizer)
Step 6: Hot to install new theme
-By default WordPress provide three themes with free installation. If you are a professional theme developer you can customize the PHP/Html code of any of the theme and activate it.
But if you do not have an idea about coding structure you need not worry. There are a million of free theme available in WordPress market you can install free of cost as per your requirement. For installing free themes just follow simple steps:

2.) Click on themes
3.) Now you can see the list of already installed themes, click on Add the new button on left top corner.
4.) Type your keyword related to theme type for eg. if you want a grid layout type, then use grid keyword in right side search themes input box.
In few seconds, you will see a list of free themes on your same page.
5.) Now choose your free theme and click on Install button whichever theme you want to use.
6.) After installing the theme, activate it. You can see the changes preview on main domain URL.
Step 7: How to install new plugin
– In WordPress plugin is a very popular term which known as the addon. It is called the additional functionality we attach to the basic WordPress code. There are thousands of free plugins which can be used as per requirement and convenience. To install the plugin, go through the steps below:

5.) Now click on install plugin and then activate it as themes.
Step 8: Add a new blog post
Step 9: Add static page in WordPress
Step 10: Make final move for SEO
Apart from WordPress, there are much other blogging platforms like Tumblr, blogger, Joomla, Drupal etc but from all WordPress is the best choice you can make for a blogging platform. There are lots of reasons to choose WordPress for blogging:
Features of WordPress over other blogging CMS:
1. Free! CMS for everyone
2. Very easy structure to understand.
3. Easy to install without having developer experience.
4. Very user-friendly administrator area for making all possible customization.
5. Full SEO support completely searches engine friendly.
6. WordPress is has become very secure blogging platform.
7. Full user supports with lots of free themes and a huge amount of free plugins available in the market.
Drawbacks of creating personal blog on third party blogging websites:
As per my suggestions, you must install your personal blog on self-hosted account only. The most popular you blog will be, you will become self-revenue generated person. Apart from that, on a third party hosted account, you will not have full control on your own blog. Adding plugins, custom theme and other WordPress featured couldn’t be possible in another hosting account. As everyone banned additional functionality because of security reasons as well as promotional reasons.
When you use third-party hosting platform, they most probably use their own domain name as the identifier in your blog URL, your own identity gets the place of subdomain only.
The most common problem in third party blogging is they don’t allow advertisement sometimes, which totally convert your time and efforts in no profit state.
